	How to Measure Cup and Band Size for a Fitted Bra To buy a bra that fits right, you have to measure right. Taking a few minutes with a seamstress tape will make the difference between comfort and support or… well, there are too many words to describe what a bad fitting bra feels like.
Step 1	Bust Size Wrap a measuring tape around the back and the fullest part of the bust. Keep the measuring tape tight, but not so tight that it indents the breast. Record measurement 1a ________ inches

Step 2	Band Size Wear a non-padded bra to measure. Measure around the rib cage under the breast for the band size. Do not pull the measuring tape too tight. Record measurement. 2 a ________ inches

Step 3	Calculate 3. Now subtract the band size from the bust size. Bust (1a) ________inches (-) minus Band (2a) _________inches Difference (3a) _______inches
Step 4	Use Difference (3a) to determine the cup size. Difference 1 inch - A cup Difference 2 inches - B cup Difference 3 inches - C cup Difference 4 inches - D cup Difference 5 inches - DD cup Difference 6 inches - DDD cup Final calculation: Cup size (4a) _______ (A, B, C, D, DDD, …)
