Fashion Accessories Guide

Fashion AccessoriesBefore you walk out the door, you probably give yourself a once over in the mirror. You check your makeup. You check your hair. You check the clothes you are wearing. But in order to add a little more "WOW," to your outfit, be sure you are coordinating the look with accessories. Just like clothing, a few versatile pieces can make a huge difference.

Jewellery

Jewellery is an easy addition to any outfit. Do you notice yourself wearing the same earrings, the same necklace and even the same watch every time you get dressed? Live a little and look for different jewellery to go with different outfits. Solid colors may be the easiest to coordinate at first. Look for different colors or even different metals to pair up with some of your favorite clothes. You don`t have to choose anything outrageous or anything that you don`t like, just choose pieces that you know look good with your features.

Scarves and Belts

Another great way to accessorize is the addition of scarves and belts. A scarf can be worn so many different ways that it can make the same outfit look different with each style. Wear it around your neck for a more traditional look, or open it up to look more like a shawl or cape. You can even use a scarf as a belt.

For many women, showing off or creating a waistline is important. Everyone wants their body to look thinner and fitter. Belts can be added to jeans and pants with belt loops for a simple look. You can also add a belt to dresses, skirts and even tunics. Centre the belt at the middle of your waist to go for the hourglass shape. Move it higher to point out a smaller part of your body.

Shoes and Socks

Shoes can dress up or down just about anything. High heels bring out a more formal look, while casual tennis shoes or sandals can go with almost anything. If you are in the habit of wearing the same shoes all the time, break the trend and look for something new. If you don`t have a pair of heels, splurge on a pair. If you don`t have a pair of cute sandals for the summer time, look for a pair that will match up with several things in your closet.

Slouch Socks

If you are wearing tennis shoes or dress shoes, chances are you are going to need socks. Just like shoes, there are all types of varieties. Trouser socks work well with dress shoes because they are thin. Some are almost as thin as pantyhose. When you put on the tennis shoes, womens slouch socks give the wearer a more athletic look. No matter what type of accessories you choose, be sure to try out a few different options before making your final decision.
